Description

The ITSM add-on for updating the prices of already provisioned services, should price changes be made to these services in the service catalog.

In standard Service Management, it is not possible to adjust the prices of already provisioned services. However, in a realistic scenario, prices of services can change constantly. For this reason, the ability to change prices asynchronously is a fundamental aspect of service portfolio management and realistic cost allocation.
Example Office Software:
Cost 2021: 30.00€/month
Cost 2023: 40.00 €/month
Consumers who have already ordered the service in 2021 will continue to pay only 30.00 €/month in 2023 as standard.

Benefits:
With this add-on, you can automatically trigger the recalculation of general service prices at set intervals. In this way, any price change in your service catalog is also updated for services already provided – in real time. The add-on also takes into account consumer master data and authorization settings. In this way, the applicable prices for services, which may well vary per catalog, are traded. Cost center managers can be notified monthly of changes made to rental services. In addition, all price changes are historically traceable.
