Description

The ITSM add-on extends the standard single asset capture by a wizard-supported mass data capture, including all owner information, global information and commercial details.

The standard only offers the functionality to capture assets individually in the system with the respective owner information, global information and commercial details. This single entry takes a lot of time and increases the possible error rate during the entry process.
The add-on, on the other hand, enables fast, automated and simple mass data capture without database knowledge. Owner information as well as global information need to be defined only once. The same applies to commercial information.
Thus, any number of assets with identical owner information, global information and commercial information, in addition to their specific characteristics such as name, serial number, etc., can be entered in a time-saving and consistent manner.
In addition, it is possible to create templates with predefined assistant data. With these templates, the standard asset inventory is done in a few clicks. And by using « dummy » assets, the stockpile of assets can be replenished before the real asset is picked up.

The following can be captured via the add-on:
• Owner information such as location, cost center and organizational unit
• Global information such as device type, status, inventory item, management type and domain
• Commercial information such as purchase order number and date, vendor, delivery note number, delivery date, invoice number, and warranty end date
• Asset information such as asset name, serial number, inventory number, MAC address and optionally the barcode
